The Good State

Editorial Policy

These are the rules we hold ourselves to. They exist so readers can judge our work, and so commercial partners know the limits.

Independence

Commercial relationships never determine which businesses or products we cover, or how we describe them. Sponsorship buys placement, never a conclusion.

Evidence and health claims

We do not publish unverified health claims, invented interviews or fabricated sources. Where something is promising but unproven, we say that plainly, and we link to primary sources where it helps.

Disclosure

Sponsored articles carry a label at the top of the page. Affiliate links are disclosed in the article and on every product card. Premium directory listings are marked.

Corrections

When we get something wrong we correct it, add a dated note, and leave the correction visible rather than quietly editing the record.

Authorship and review

Every article carries the author's name and publication date. Health-related pieces are reviewed before publication and dated, and older pieces are re-checked when the evidence changes.
